Luong Thi Xuan et Lien Chabot annoncent leur partenariat pour l’orphelinat Tuê Minh

Tout en continuant de soutenir ses petits protégés, PERLS souhaite aujourd’hui aller plus loin dans son engagement envers les enfants démunis; Liên prend ainsi la Direction de l’orphelinat Tuê Minh, conjointement avec la fondatrice de l’établissement Luong Thi Xuân. Ce petit orphelinat, situé dans la province de Lam Dong, dans un village à 50km de Dalat, accueille 19 enfants, dont 13 de moins de 4 ans.

Xuan, c’est une femme que rien ne prédestinait à une telle aventure. Durant la crise sanitaire, elle a accueilli sous son toit une première jeune fille enceinte ne pouvant garder son enfant …et tout s’est enchainé ; d’autres femmes ont ainsi confié leurs nouveaux nés durant les deux années qui ont suivi et quelques autres parents démunis lui ont laissé leurs enfants. Depuis, elle se consacre entièrement à ses petits. Son histoire et son dévouement m’ont plu et émue.

Je suis heureuse de cette collaboration et ravie de m’impliquer davantage dans le fonctionnement et développement d’un orphelinat, de réaliser des projets avec une personne qui partage profondément les valeurs de PERLS. Ensemble, nous ferons grandir ces enfants dans la tendresse et la bienveillance, les aiderons à se construire et les accompagnerons dans la durée. La Santé, l’Education et le Bien Etre resteront les trois priorités de PERLS.

Les projets sont nombreux. Nous les partagerons très vite!

TUE MINH ORPHANAGE

December 2023. First fruits of a great collaboration

For several weeks, the Perls association has taken the Tue Minh orphanage under its wing, of which Liên takes the direction, jointly with Xuan, the founder of the orphanage

Here are the first projects carried out by the Xuan-Liên duo:

From now on, a teacher will come to the orphanage 5 days a week for the 12 children under 4 years old. A different program every day based on education aimed at stimulating their cognitive abilities, their curiosity, creativity and manual dexterity. Our teacher is a rare gem. The children of Tue Minh will not escape English lessons, because we remain convinced that mastery of this language is an undeniable asset. English lessons every week, divided into 2 groups: children under 6 years old and older ones. Private lessons for children over 6 years old who need additional support: 5 children out of 6 go to their teachers once a week

Current projects :

Creation of a playground for children. A tractor, stones, sand, a few neighbors and an efficient workforce will be enough to cover this area of more than 600m2 with a synthetic lawn. As no sports activities are offered in the vicinity of the orphanage, this alternative seems to us to be a good solution. Sports activities: to be defined...
An organic chicken & duck farm. The orphanage already has a small breeding farm. Next step: purchase of 300 chicks & ducklings intended for sale. Objective: to enable the orphanage to be more financially independent. There is still a long way to go... There are still many projects….To be continued….
