The association Pour que des Enfants Retrouvent le Sourire (PERLS; For children to Smile again), created in February 2019, aims to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Asia. It seeks to improve their living conditions in orphanages, hospitals, schools, or any other place requiring childcare, and also promote their access to medical care.

Since its creation, PERLS has focused its efforts on supporting the Be Tho orphanage which houses nearly 100 children in Vietnam. The association is actively involved in their daily lives by providing them with material and food aid and makes their personal development and fulfillment its priority. It directly involves itself in the implementation of its projects and does not make donations to the orphanage.

In December 2023, while continuing to support its young wards, PERLS aims to further its commitment to underprivileged children. Liên is thus taking over the leadership of the Tuê Minh orphanage, in collaboration with the establishment's founder, Luong Thi Xuân.
